A bit about Omar:
Omar Rito was born in 1986 and raised on the Oaxacan Coast. He came to Oaxaca de Juarez in 2007 to pursue civil engineering studies at the university. It was upon his arrival that he became involved with the Learning Center, first as a student and then as a tutor. He graduated from Instituto Tecnológico de Oaxaca (ITO) in 2013 and created a company that specializes in design and implementation of municipal development projects.
In 2015 he obtained his official license Licenciatura en Ingeniería Civil (#9781057)
Omar is bilingual and very active in the expat community as a regular participant in the Hoofing It hiking club, language exchanges, and other bi-cultural activities.
